What is the weapon and how does it work?
The weapon is the Tank. It has a bullet-proof casting and has 2 revolving machine guns. (1899) When and where was this weapon invented? The tank wasn't finally created until 1916 in Great Britain. Who invented it? A colonel from Great Britain had the idea but passed it on the Winston Churchill to execute his plan. Why was it invented? They were a solution to trench warfare that enemies used during war. |

OVERALL IMPACT OF THE TANK
Trench warfare was used all over during WW1. And attacking countries needed a way to kill the enemies in the trenches without losing masses of soldiers. So they created the Tank that could pass over enemy trenches with no problem. Trench warfare was not used soon after tanks were put on the battlefield. PROS OF TANKS

Soldiers near the front lines in Europe: Soldiers near the front line were terrified of the tanks because they couldn't do much to stop them. The leaders of the warring nations and the decisions they made: Leader were more aggressive when they had the tanks but if they didn't they took the more defensive approach. Civilians near the front lines in Europe: Civilians were always in danger and even more so with big huge tanks going up and down the streets of their town. The modern day version of the ww1 tank is just a more technologically advanced tank with better traction and more room to maneuver in cockpit like the M1 Abrams. This new and improved tank has come a long way from it original WWI design. New bullets, tracks and security are a big improvement to make the tanks a powerhouse weapon.
